Why we exist

elValle Actualidad was born from the wish to give a voice to those who can't find a place to express themselves and share their projects. It was born to build an archive of local art, to give people reasons to stay and to stand up for a rural Almería that is at risk of disappearing.
It was born from our love for our little corner of the province: from a passion for its food, its festivals and its traditions. We report first-hand on everything that happens in the Almanzora Valley, in every field: the economy, incidents, jobs, society and culture.
The Valley is a privileged place between the coast and the mountains, with landscapes and colours you won't find anywhere else on the map, full of cultural projects and creative people. It deserves a newspaper to match: an alternative to the usual press, a space to express yourself and to look at what is happening from another perspective.
We want you to feel we are an ally, a companion you can count on with a single tap, and the channel through which to share any idea, project or thought.
